Jane & Dan's Engagement Photos at Teddy Bear Cove, Bellingham, Washington
May 12, 2017 , Engagements
Who: Jane and Dan (and Cubby)
What: Outdoor, summery engagement session
When: Sunday, May 7, 2017
Where: Teddy Bear Cove, Larrabee State Park
Jane and Dan are getting married on the north shore of Lake Whatcom next month and wanted engagement portraits at Teddy Bear Cove to keep a similar feel. It’s a fantastic little spot in the Chuckanuts, and I’ll jump at any opportunity to head down there. Something about it just makes me feel relaxed.
We had clear skies and bright sunshine, which turned the water a glorious shade of blue.
We really had a perfect day for spending time at Teddy Bear Cove. The sun was shining, the air was warm, and there was a pleasant breeze. It felt a lot like summer!
Can we stop for a minute and acknowledge how cute Cubby is? He was really good for us, hanging out while we did photos without him and was a great little subject when we included him.
There’s a ton of interesting driftwood on the beach and I love incorporating it into some ring shots.
Teddy Bear Cove isn’t a huge area, but does have a good mix of beach and rock formations.
There’s also a short trail and set of stairs going up above Teddy Bear Cove with a nice patch of forest and beautiful views looking out over Chuckanut Bay.
Thanks, Jane and Dan, for inviting me along to Teddy Bear Cove. Looking forward to your wedding!
