What: 50th anniversary, three generations family photoshoot
When: Sunday, April 30, 2017
Where: Whatcom Falls Park
Rebekah contacted me and said she wanted to have family portraits done to celebrate her in-laws’ 50th wedding anniversary. Their families live across the country and getting people together in one place isn’t too common. Whatcom Falls Park was a great spot for photos with easy trails, the beautiful falls, trees, and playground. We shot a couple basic group portraits before walking down to the old stone bridge. The bridge was built by the Works Progress Administration in 1939.
After making our way back toward the playground, it was time to let loose a little.
The kids loved exploring between the trees and climbing over the playground – suits, dresses, and all. Whatcom Falls Park is such a great spot for kids.
Parents and grandparents had some time to pose too…
I can tell that these families have a lot of fun!
The kids were really interested in having their pictures taken but were always on the move. I was finally able to get them to relax for some portraits.
Thanks to your big family for inviting me to photograph you. I hope you enjoyed Whatcom Falls Park and congratulations on your 50 years!
