The details: Hannah and Max’s wedding at Broadway Hall on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Bellingham, WA.
Hannah and Max met at Western Washington University and returned to Bellingham for their wedding. They’re fun, easy going, and have great taste. They sure did make my job easy!
Their wedding at Broadway Hall was beautiful, classic, and timeless with a lot of little details that gave it that extra something. I love the old classic books they used as table centerpieces – they matched the historic venue so well. Broadway Hall was built in 1905 and is on the register of history places. I love venues like this, with the stone fireplace, arches and pillars, hardwood floors, and beautiful dark woodwork.
When I arrived at the venue, Max was getting ready. I got some photos of the venue and details and Hannah arrived soon after. For their First Look, Max waited at the top of the stairs for Hannah to come up behind him. Then we popped outside for some portraits.
One of the great things about having a wedding at Broadway Hall is that there are two little parks that are just short walks away. Elizabeth park is larger and a bit farther, but right across the street is a little green space with trees and a bench. It’s a great way to have a ballroom wedding but still have the option of some outdoor portraits with greenery.
Hannah and Max were so great to work with. They just seemed so comfortable together.
Every little detail was wonderful – from the table centerpieces, to the dessert bar, to the flowers. I could tell that a lot of thought had gone into planning and decorating. Little details go a long way!
I love the balcony at Broadway Hall and the big open hardwood floor reception space on the second floor. Its a wonderful indoor space that still gives guests the chance to enjoy some fresh air.
Thank you so much Hannah and Max! Congratulations!
